Biographical Sketch
Stephen Fraley, a counselor, teacher, and writer, earned his B.S. at Canisius College while incarcerated. He is author of the Community Preparation Workbook, a counseling guide for basic transitional skills and constructive behavior, and Editor of Pen & ink, a prison newspaper. He is widely published in professional journals, magazines, newspapers, and books, picking up a number of awards along the way. He is incarcerated at Collins Correctional Facility and will be eligible for parole in 2001. He hopes to earn his Ph.D. in psychology upon release, and continue the work he is doing in prison.
