    First, I must say that I really enjoyed Tommy's art. His use of texture and shadow, and the way his pictures, though a collage of different images, have a striking fluidity about them that really intrigued me and drew me deeper into each piece.

   In this piece the even, textured contours of Clinton's face emphasized the impassive, perhaps cold, or even, unfeeling aspect that clouds much of our Political/Justice arena. The mountainous face above, blinded and silenced by prison bars of black and white, evokes a lot of feeling, as does hardened visage just below, the man crying out in pain and frustration, and the old, beaten man in the fore-front. Overall, it is an emotive blend of feeling and thought that carries a tough message. All of which I enjoyed.

   I enjoyed this piece as well. This its poignant balance of shadow and light, the acute feeling and question blend to say forcefully ... WHY?

   I liked both his other pieces that I received ... but the first two called the most to me. Still, in each, the subtle blending of many images to create a whole I found very involving and enjoyable. I must further mention that the first half-dozen times I looked I continued to catch new things.
